The amount of entrepreneurs in the modern era has been increasing at a very rapid rate. Although this sounds good, that also means that the competition for any company out there is extreme. There is a good chance that a product that someone thinks could be useful in life already exists out there. Despite the competition, many entrepreneurs have found success in this business profession.
One way that a lot of entrepreneurs are growing is through a TV show called Shark Tank. Shark Tank is a show where various entrepreneurs pitch their products to a group of experienced business professionals, also known as sharks. The entrepreneurs will ask for money in return for a portion of their company. The goal is for the entrepreneurs to grow their business as well as for their product to be marketed to a wide viewing audience. Even entrepreneurs who don't get deals on Shark Tank still make plenty of money just off of the exposure they get from being on the show. There are plenty of examples of businesses that took off after airing on Shark Tank because they got the expert help they needed as well as the money to help grow their business to the next level.
I personally feel like entrepreneurs are very beneficial to society because they help out the local communities you live in. The people who start the local restaurants and bakeries are doing us a favor by providing us with tasty food. There are also lots of other types of businesses run by entrepreneurs that help out society as well.
During the coronavirus pandemic, the entrepreneurs were very negatively affected. When we were under lockdown a lot of the small businesses that were run by entrepreneurs were barely making enough money because their businesses got shut down due to the coronavirus restrictions. During this time period, it was a lot easier to start an online business than a brick-and-mortar one. Many people took the opportunity to start up a Fulfillment by Amazon business or start up their own clothing stores online. Some people benefited greatly by utilizing that opportunity. I think that the people who started online businesses made very smart decisions because most of the shopping was being done online.
All in all, I feel like the number of entrepreneurs has been rapidly increasing over the past decade. People have found new and creative ways to solve the daily problems of humans. There is a lot of competition in the entrepreneur world, which makes it a risky profession to go into. Shark Tank has helped many entrepreneurs become successful, and has also increased the popularity of entrepreneurialism. In the last year, the amount of entrepreneurs conducting and creating a business online has been specifically increasing.
